The 12th Niseko Classic enters the 10th year as part of UCI Gran Fondo World Series, known as official citizen races of UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale).

Note:
・The time schedule may be subject to change.
・Participating teams are required to attend both the "race briefing" at Niseko Grand Hirafu Venue and "rules explanation" at Start Area.
*The meeting may be attended by the entire team or just the team representative.
・Participating teams must gather at the start area by their own.
・Participating teams must use the designated parking lot for the event.
・Participating teams must enter the start area at least 15 minutes before the race start time.
Race General Information
A team-based competition on a special course in Kutchan Town.
Each team consists of four members, with each rider completing three laps of the approximately 2km course.
Eligibility
Competitors who have registered for either or both the Niseko Classic 2025 Road Race and Time Trial.
*Teams must consist of four members meeting the above criteria, with a mix of male and female participants.
*Road Race and Time Trial participants may come from either UGFWS or HCF races.
*Participating teams are requested to wear the same uniform.
Race Format
Criterium-style Team Relay (Team Competition)
All first riders will start together. All team members must enter the start area by the designated time.

Special Notes
- The competition will be held under the event's special regulations.
- Participants must wear an approved helmet that meets safety standards of his/her country.
- Equipment permitted for the competition (especially wheels) must comply with UCI and JCF regulations. The use of extension bars and disc wheels is prohibited, and bicycles weighing less than 6.8 kg will result in disqualification.
- Bicycles used in the competition must be either a road bike, cross bike, or mountain bike. The use of time trial bikes is prohibited.
- A transponder is used to track the time of the race.
Notes
- Body numbers and transponders (timing chips) for the competition will be handed over at the registration desk on Friday, June 13th, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
If you are unable to make it for registration in time, please be sure to inform the event organizer. - Riders must attach a transponder( timing chip) to their bike before start. Riders without timing chip are not allowed to start.
- News and other information are updated only on the website and Social media(Facebook / Instagram). Communiques boards will not be installed at the venue.
- Medical team will provide a temporary first-aid treatment for injuries caused by accidents during the race. An extensive treatment will not be provided by them. Upon finishing the race, each participant is suggested to make a visit to a hospital.
- The race is carried out on public roads. Riders are obliged to follow the organizer’s instruction. Those who act against are disqualified and expelled from the race immediately.
- Participants who have decided to suspend the race should report to officials, committee members and security immediately.
(Niseko Classic Headquarter: +81-136-55-6081) - Please attach the timing chip to your bike during the race and immediately return it to Timing Chip Return Box set in the venue after the finish. Damaging your chip or failure to return incurs 10,000 JPY penalty as its replacement cost.
- The organizer holds rights to use participants’ pictures, names, addresses, age or race careers in general advertising tools, press release and information media related to the event.
Additionally, please note that they will be also used in publications, video or other media format created by the organizer. - To all participants and spectators:
Active camera devices (EX: GoPro) must be placed firmly locations where it won’t contact with a body (EX: under the handle bar) to avoid injuries.
Additionally, drone filming on the course or within 10 meters of the course is prohibited under UCI regulations.
Special Rules for Team Relay
- Race Briefing
Teams participating in the Team Relay are required to attend the race briefing at Niseko Grand Hirafu main venue. Please receive prior explanations regarding the race flow.
Additionally, any questions regarding participation will be answered during the Q&A session. The team representative may attend the briefing on behalf of the team. - Moving to the Start Area
Each team must arrive at the start area by 16:45, when the call-up process begins.
After the safety instructions are given, teams should promptly move to the rider pit and wait there. - Bike Check
There will be no mandatory bike check for this race. However, weight or other checks may be conducted if necessary.
Once in the rider pit, riders must remain inside and are not allowed to exit. - Race Start & Riding Rules
・The first riders will start together from just before the finish arch.
・The next riders may enter the course from the rider pit after visually confirming that the previous rider has completed their third lap.
・When entering the course, follow the guidance of race officials to avoid contact with other riders.
・The race will conclude once the final rider crosses the finish line after their third lap.
・The race course will only be used by participating riders, as there will be no race control using official vehicles or motorcycles. - Feeding
Receiving food or drinks from third parties during the race is not permitted. - After Crossing the Finishs Line
For safety reasons, riders must promptly leave the course and follow the instructions of event staff after crossing the finish line. - Awards Ceremony
The top three teams will be awarded. They must attend the ceremony wearing their race kit. - Results
Race results will be posted on the live results system and the official event website after the timing process is complete. - Injuries During the Race
In case of injury, medical treatment costs after hospital transportation must be covered by the individual. Please ensure you bring your health insurance card.
