Local Events

This event has been devised to allow participants to enjoy the serenity of Niseko’s vast natural surroundings while cycling around Mt Yotei. The 3 courses are set so that all from beginner to advantages can enjoy and participate that matches to their own level.

The course is almost 16km of climbing and the climbs include 617m elevation at an average grade of 4.6%. There are a number of categories ranging from elite to beginner and the focus of the event is on participation. The Niseko Hanazono hill climb race has been taking a place with the Kutchan Jagata-matsuri (the local festival) where awards ceremony is held and which you can enjoy after the race!

Gravel road bike, which can ride in all kinds of road conditions, attract cyclists worldwide, have become widely popular overseas and are also attracting a lot of attention in Japan. "Niseko Gravel" is a ride event which you can experience the magnificent nature of Hokkaido, a new kind of riding experience, with a hybrid ride on paved and gravel(forest, farm roads, unpaved roads).
