Start Grid

In previous editions of the Niseko Classic road race, participants were lined up in their respective start grids based on age and category, then started in approximately three waves.

However, this year, we plan to implement a start format similar to the Championship, with around 10 waves, each set to depart at five-minute intervals. Final adjustments may be made based on the total number of participants.

In the past, the one-minute intervals between waves led to early mixing of different categories. This year, we are improving this by extending the intervals.

By ensuring a smoother flow for each category, we aim to provide a more comfortable race start experience. We hope you're looking forward to it!
