We have received multiple complaints and concerns from local residents regarding participant behavior during course reconnaissance.
This event is made possible by the understanding and cooperation of the local community.
Public roads are NOT reserved for event participants. Please be considerate of local residents, vehicles, and pedestrians at all times during your course reconnaissance.
【RULES DURING COURSE RECONNAISSANCE】
① NO RIDING SIDE BY SIDE — Do not ride two or more riders abreast.
② NO LITTERING — Do not throw bottles, food packaging, or any other waste on the road or roadside.
③ OBEY ALL TRAFFIC RULES — Follow all traffic lights, road signs, stop signs, and other traffic regulations at all times.
④ GIVE WAY TO VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS — Do not obstruct traffic. If a vehicle approaches, move safely to the side and allow it to pass.
⑤ NO DANGEROUS OVERTAKING OR SUDDEN MOVEMENTS — Do not put other road users at risk through dangerous overtaking or sudden changes of direction.
⑥ RESPECT LOCAL RESIDENTS — Do not shout or engage in any behavior that may disturb or inconvenience residents, especially in residential areas.
⚠️ VIOLATIONS MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION
If any of the above rules are violated, or if a participant is found to have caused significant inconvenience or danger to local residents or other road users, the organizer may cancel the participant’s eligibility to start in this year’s event.
No refund of the entry fee will be provided in such cases.
Serious violations may also result in a ban from participating in future events.
SPORTSMANSHIP STARTS BEFORE THE RACE.
Every participant’s actions affect the future of this event and its relationship with the local community.
